This weekend, my dude and I amazingly had nothing planned so we hightailed it down the 10E freeway (have you guys seen the SNL skit “The Californians”?) and spent a leisurely afternoon in downtown. We had a really great lunch at Little Bear in the Industrial District, complete with the most delicious Belgian fries and beer. Then we went up to the Arts District so Kyle could do some sample sale’ing at Apolis and I could visit the new Poketo store. Finally, we headed over to the LA State Historical Park for the Renegade Craft Fair.
After a few hours of craft-mania in the hot sun, we had fresh fruit popsicles and called it a day. All in all, a beautiful afternoon spent in one of my favorite parts of the city.
Love that last photo of DTLA. Love that you enjoy hanging out in my hood as much as I do =) I haven’t tried out Little Bear but now I will thanks to your post!
best,
Christine
Sooo.. what’d you buy?
Great photos. Glad you had fun!
Nothing like spending the day on the town with the man. Nice shots.
