Last Minute Gift Ideas: Essie Nail Polish

December 22, 2009

Essie nail polish is amazing. There’s no other way to describe it. My local beauty supply store sells Essie as a “buy 3, get the 4th free” deal. You don’t even want to know how easily I’m suckered into buying 3 to get that 4th polish free. I pick one up and instantly see another that I must have. Then, with 2 in my hand, I say to myself, Well what’s one more??

Anyways, enough about me. Essie polish is a great gift for your girlfriends, sisters, coworkers, EVERYONE. They come in every color imaginable but a perfect color for the winter season is WICKED, pictured above. It’s a deep, dark red that screams glamour and timeless chic. Totally classic and universal.

It’s a great stocking stuffer! So be sure to check out your local beauty supply store for some last minute Essie polish. Just be careful of those 4-for-3 deals!! They will get you, I guarantee.

Last Minute Gift Ideas: Homemade Gingersnaps

Filed Under : EAT - RECIPES

Homemade cookies are a perfect gift to bring to a holiday party, especially if you can decorate them in a cute and unique way like these Five-Spice Gingersnaps.

You can also use any sugar cookie as well if you’re not a fan of gingersnaps.

Get creative by using colored, decorative icings and swirling them together with toothpicks. The results, like the cookies pictured above, will truly amaze you! And the other guests at the party will be very impressed with/jealous of your baking skills.
