Time for Prints

During the Spring/Summer runway shows a few months ago, I was quite excited to see a revival of exotic and mix-matched prints. Not because I’m a major wearer of prints – on the contrary, I’m a notorious solids girl so it will be a nice change of pattern in my wardrobe.

And though the trend was mostly print-on-print, I’m really diggin this Batik Print Romper. Just the right amount of print in my book!

Army Inspired

(L) Gap Military Anorak $79.50; (M) Gap Khaki Drawstring Shirt Dress $59.50; (R) Gap Sun-washed Camp Shirt $49.50

Of the many spring trends this year, one of my favorites is the military-inspired trend. It’s utilitarian (if you will), handsome, and a nice departure from the blacks and grays of winter.

But I dare say the best part of this trend is that it’s featured heavily in Gap’s spring campaign. That means it’s easily accessible and très affordable!
