Friday love list

Do you realize what the beginning of April means? It’s almost peony season! I’m one of the 99% of women who think peonies are absolutely magical. I live for the span of 2-3 weeks that Trader Joe’s stocks them. I can’t wait!

Anyway, hope you had a lovely week. It’s still quite wintery over here but we’re planning on doing lots of spring activities this weekend, i.e. spring cleaning and maybe a hike in the canyons. 2 of my favorite things! Here are a few other things I’m currently loving:

This mid-century wood nightstand from West Elm. Would be a perfect addition to my bedroom!
House plants! I really want a few plants around the apartment. Anyone have a green thumb and can recommend some good house plants? I’m thinking ferns?
I could really go for BOTH of these salads from Kitchy Kitchen.
Speaking of salads, this beet green salad sounds (and looks) divine.
This outfit. Too perfect! White jeans + green jacket + black satchel.

Friday love list

It’s supposed to rain pretty heavily this weekend so I’m going to try my best to stay indoors and only eat things high in fat content. To keep warm, you know? Here are a few things I loved this week:

….ACTUALLY, before we discuss my fave things, I would like put it out there that my posting has been infrequent and sucky lately. I hate when that happens so I’m going to try much harder to create better content on this here thing. PROMS. Okay, now onto the love list:

100% making these chai-spiced snickerdoodles this weekend (thanks Jay-dawg for the find!).
This design*sponge post was the reason I made a super impulse purchase on a new rug (more on that later).
Loving everything about Emerson Fry’s new spring line (previously Emersonmade).
On the beauty front, I would love to own this Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter.
I’m going to attempt this hair-do over the weekend. We shall see if it works!

You guys, the Hunger Games movie is almost out. So soon! This weekend, I plan to reread the book since I haven’t read it in about 2 years.
Oh man, these tofu spring rolls look so easy and delicious. Can’t wait to try them out.
These Zara sandals are too adorable to pass up.
Chocolate-covered marshmallow cookies. I’m on it.
My new camera bag finally arrived at my parents’ house and I am SO EXCITED to pick it up. It was a birthday gift from my family and has been on backorder all this time. It’s finally here, woop woop!

This weekending I’m keeping it simple. How about you?

I’m really loving A Cup of Jo’s food series, including the best chocolate ice cream you’ll ever have.
Olivia Palermo’s outfit in this snapshot by Garance Dore borders on perfection. The floral paired with the leopard pump? Um, yes. Plus, she’s just too adorable for words.
I’ve been really obsessed with finding great rugs for my apartment but haven’t had any luck yet. This striped rug from West Elm is right up my alley though.
Yesterday, I ordered this book on a whim. If there is a particular look and style that I constantly strive for, it’s Parisian Chic. So hopefully this helps, ha!
I did a little style post this week over on JayAdores. Love that girl!

Happy weekending! My weekend looks like this: oscars, OSCars, OSCARS. It will be a fun weekend but lots o’ work. Enjoy yours!
